Transfer to Cam Thanh coconut village where you will experience basket boat ride around the coconut forest, learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community. Board on boat and commence cruising on the Cua Dai River. Watch local fisherman on the river and experience on round net or cast net. Coconut forest is a very unique eco region, with a beautiful mangrove forest, is the habitat of many precious animals such as, crab, shrimp, fish and even soft bodied animals. Local people will teach you how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat. You will hear stories of past wars and the harsh conditions that soldiers have to endure.
Leave Cam Thanh forest for lunch. After that, head to Hoi An ancient town for visiting Family Chapel built by prominent, merchant or official families as the center ancestor worship a Chinese style Pagoda or Assembly Hall: Japanese Covered Bridge Pagoda which is the first bridge on this site and was constructed in 1593 by Japanese community of Hoi An to link the Town with the Chinese Quarter across the stream, besides looking at Fukien Association temple, Ceramic Museum and Chua Ong Temple. Dinner at local restaurant, free and easy to explore Hoi An town at night.
